I am a local from Millbrook. I attended East Memorial Christian Academy all the way through high school. Following high school, I attended and graduated from Huntingdon College with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Collaboration in Special Education. I am a fourth grade English Language Arts teacher here at ARIS, and this will be my fifth-year teaching!

      In addition, I am married to my high school sweetheart, Kody. Together, we have one sweet Pitbull pup named Sadie and a turtle named Fred. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, doing anything related to art or DIY projects, playing with my dogs, flea market/thrift shopping, and going on adventures with my family. 

      My hopes for my students are for them to feel confident and grow academically and socially in my classroom. We are all going to have a wonderful school year!
